General Information

School Hours:
Kindergarten: 8:40 a.m. – 2:50 p.m.
Grade 1: 8:40 a.m. – 2:55 p.m.
Grades 2-5: 8:40 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Breakfast program for P.S. 139 students begins at 8:00 a.m.
Children can enter school at 8:30 a.m. for the regular school day.

Morning Tutorial: Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 8:02 a.m. – 8:39.5. a.m.
AIS Program: Tuesday & Thursday: 3:05 p.m. – 4:35 p.m.

Dismissal Information for all students:
Kindergarten: 2:50 p.m. at Booth Street
Grade 1: 2:55 p.m. – Lower Schoolyard on Booth Street
Grades 2 & 4: 3:00 p.m. – Wetherole Street & 63rd Drive
Grades 3 & 5: 3:00 p.m. – Booth Street & 63rd Drive

Please be prompt in picking up your child at the appropriate exit.

Assembly Attire: White Shirt & Dark Pants/Skirt
Please wear Assembly Attire for the Student of the Month Assemblies and for Special Assemblies that are listed on the weekly update.

A few notes: Please wear sneakers for Physical Education.
Please send your child to school with a healthy, nutritious snack.
Please bring your child to school on time and pick them up on time at the appropriate exit.
School Hours are: 8:40 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Kindergarten: 8:40 – 2:50 p.m.)

There is no Morning Tutorial on Thursday & Friday – the school day begins at 8:40 a.m. for all students

www.mylunchmoney.com .You will need your child’s OSIS # (contact P.S. 139 for this number). P.S. 139Q is in District 28.

Safety First:

• Classes will be dismissed one at a time.
• Booth Street – Please do not double-park or block the driveway, it must remain
  clear. The ramp must remain clear for the students.
• 63rd Drive – Please remain at the bottom of the stairs and do not block the stairs when waiting for your child to be dismissed. The stairs must remain clear for the
  students.
• The P.S. 139 School yard will be closed at 6 p.m. daily during the winter months
